Info on this Ventura

Hey everyone, I'm digging this Ventura salmon dial that I'm looking to purchase (https://www.chrono24.fr/hamilton/ven...id14575924.htm) but I am lacking info on it. It says its a 6337 that I read was produced around end 1990s but seller says 2012 watch.

When was 6337 ventura's last produced and what is the mouvement in it ? So That I can buy a battery before the watch arrives if I decide to purchase it.

Thank you all for your help

square or rectangular Seagull watches?

$

I'm looking for a square or rectangular Seagull branded watch to "round" off my East Asian sub-collection. I have searched high and low for anything recent or vintage from Seagull that is remotely quadrilateral shaped, but haven't found anything. Surely, they've got to have made something art-deco like or tank-like or square.

Does anyone know about any?

Thanks!

Exhibition Casebacks - as a style/design element

Hey everyone,
I'm sitting here sipping margaritas in coronavirusville and got to wondering about exhibition casebacks. Not from the perspective of whether it practically does or should reduce depth rating because I'm strictly a desk diver. I'm more interested in what folks think about it as a stylistic choice on the manufacturer's part. Also, do you encounter any problems wear watches with crystal casebooks? I certainly do because my forearms are essentially devoid of hair and the slick surface sticks to my skin at the slightest hint of humidity or perspiration.

IAmScott is a wondeful seller!

Protecting G investments

This is how watch collectors/investors protect watch investments. this is a G version of "how to"

- purchase every low production G in every colour

- accumulate a collection of 1000's of rare G's

- find the largest G community hub

- on the said hub, you hype up G's and create positivity and stamp out any negative comments about G's.

- mold the community hub around YOU. it's your show.

- end result is market manipulation at the community forum level

this happens on the rolex hubs to. i think you get my flow, dont you. this happens year after year on many brand forums. it's a deep seated thing in the watch community.

Would you buy a bronze watch if it didn’t patina?

Just saw the new Bremont releases this week and the Project Possible watch is a real looker imo. Not interested in a debate on price here nor the value of Bremont watches. Just curious to know who loves the look of new bronze but hates patina bronze. And your pics of your favorite bronze watches. I’m guessing that short of applying a treatment every few days, it’s impossible to stop the effect.

I really love the look of this:

Any Pics Out There Comparing The Size Of The Turtle To The Casio MDV106?

I am still considering buying a Seiko turtle, but am concerned about the size. I know its a chunky dive watch.

My largest watch is a Casio MDV106 Divers Watch. From what I can find it seems the Turtle and the Casio are pretty much the same in overall size.

If anyone has a pic of both watches I would appreciate posting it.

Thanks!

FS: TAG Heuer 2000 974.006

For sale is my TAG Heuer 2000 974.006 (Men's Full Size)

I've owned this watch for over two years and have loved every minute of it. I purchased it from the original owner, who purchased it brand new in 1994 at a TAG AD. It is time to let this one go as I am hunting for my first Rolex. :-!

The watch is in great shape and has been taken care of from day one. The battery has been replaced within the past year, it is ticking strong and keeping great time.

I have never had the watch in water nor had it pressure tested. I will put all the original links back on the watch prior to shipping it, should fit roughly up to a 7.5" wrist with full links. The only issue I have come across with this watch is that the divers extension likes to pop open while sliding the watch onto your wrist. It has never been an issue, just have to close it. I believe the rivet that holds the divers extension closed is worn, so it doesn't snap shut any longer.

Accessories: Comes with the original international TAG Heuer Guarantee, signed by the original owner in 1994 and another TAG Heuer booklet.

Looking for $650 CAD / $455 USD + Shipping (Paid on buyer's expense via FedEx)

The Gambler has played his last hand

Junghans Meister Telemeter Chronoscope. Rare Black Version. Like New in Box [EU Seller]

$

.

Due to the current CV crisis, along with many of our fellow WUS members, I have
more time on my hand (?) Looking at the collection and I think that maybe its time
to let go some of my "keepers". These are pieces that I have been keeping for the
long term - but times being what they are.........

Junghans made this in three colourways. White/steel, White/gold and then
this rarer version the black/steel. This version is no longer available and sells
for up-to double what I asking for.

As you can see the condition is like new. Only worn a handful of times
around the house. Comes as a full set with all paperwork, inner and outer box,
original unused Junghans signed black leather strap.

This is a fantastic automatic timepiece. Yesterdays styling but with
modern technology. Very comfortable on the wrist. What I really like is the low
profile so that it slides underneath a cuff and is not top heavy - as many
chronometers tend to be. I have taken plenty of pictures in different lighting
to show how stunning it looks in any light.

Please note the blue stitched strap is not included in the sale. That is what
I wore it on.

Many great reviews out there for this amazing watch:
